Tóm tắt: The alkylation of aniline with methanol over HZSM-5 and HY zeolites has been studied. The selectivity may be oriented towards alkylation on the amino group or on the aromatic ring. Characteristic of zeolite structure may govern the selectivity of product. The medium pore zeolite favours the production of N-alkylates (mainly N, N-dimethyl aniline). The large pore zeolite has a bious towards C-alkylation (p-toludin; C,C-dimethyl aniline).
